It is essential that you pay close attention to your diet while undergoing Orthodontic treatment.

It is important to avoid hard, sticky, or crunchy foods as they can pull brackets off teeth. It is also crucial to reduce the amount of sugar in your diet. Sugar can get in around the brackets and cause cavities. If you have any questions regarding your diet or the best foods to eat during treatment, please speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable team. In the meantime, we recommend that you do not eat:

Hard Foods:

  • Crusty bread
  • Whole apples
  • Corn on the cob
  • Raw carrots
  • Meat on bones
  • Large pieces of tough steak
  • Pork crackling
  • Ice cubes

Sticky Lollies:
