Ceramic or ‘Clear’ Braces offer the same benefits as conventional Braces, work in the same way and have the same components; however, the brackets are tooth-coloured in appearance and therefore less noticeable.
The main benefit of Clear Braces is the increased aesthetic appeal of your smile. Clear Braces may be placed on your upper teeth and are almost invisible. In fact, virtually no one will know you are wearing them, unless you tell.
Clear Braces are slightly more bulky than conventional Braces and can therefore cause a little more discomfort to the lips and mouth tissue. Discomfort can be alleviated with analgesics and through the use of the mouth wax we provide for you; however, this should only last a couple of days after the initial fitting.
